Status cerai fasakh Nurul Izzah belum ada kata putus
Nurul Izzah sekali lagi mengejutkan dunia politik tanah air petang ini apabila mengeluarkan kenyataan bersama dengan suaminya tanpa menafikan bahawa beliau memfailkan tuntutan fasakh.
J
ika pada sebelah pagi tadi beliau menafikan, melalui akaun twitter, ada memfailkan tuntutan cerai fasakh ke atas suaminya, Raja Ahmad Shahrir Iskandar, kenyataan terbarunya langsung tidak menafikan mahu pun mendakwa berita tuntutan fasakh tersebut palsu.
PKR vice president Nurul Izzah Anwar and her husband Raja Ahmad Shahrir Raja Salim have issued a joint statement, expressing disappointment over the attention given to their personal lives.
Without denying Nurul Izzah had filed a divorce petition in the lower Syariah Court in December, the couple said: “We are deeply saddened by the undignified intrusion into our private lives and will do our utmost to work out our continuing union”
“Our family is our priority, as is our time together, so we thank all our supporters for their kind understanding, and appeal to all to accord us privacy,” the couple added in a statement.
The statement was issued after The Star Online broke the news in the morning and the drama later in the day took a new twist with family members claiming that the Pqantai Dalam MP might be withdrawing the petition on Friday.
It is understood that family members had persuaded the couple to work things out after news broke online that Nurul had filed for divorce in late December.
Dua kenyataan berbeza dalam suatu hari menimbulkan pertanyaan sama ada wakil rakyat Lembah Pantai ini menyembunyikan sesuatu.
