We are moving! Our home in LCC Terminal, Kuala Lumpur will soon be moved to Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA 2) beginning 9 May 2014!
Several flights arriving in KL on 8 May will also be moved to klia2, and guests affected will be informed earlier prior to the move. How early should you arrive? All AirAsia and AirAsia X baggage-drop counters will open three (3) hours before the scheduled departure time, and will close one (1) hour before departure time effective 9th May 2014 onwards at klia2. We would like to advise all our guests to arrive ahead of the recommended check-in time to ensure ample time to move from check-in counters to your designated departure gates.
Transportation: There will be a variety of transportation choices in and out of klia2, including buses, ERL (Express Rail Transit) and taxis. You will still be able to utilize your SkyBus booking made via AirAsia.com at klia2, departing at Level 1 @ klia2. You can check out the list of transportation options from/to klia2 @ http://www.klia2.info/transportation. If your car is parked at LCC Terminal upon arrival at klia2, FREE shuttles are provided between LCCT and klia2 every 15-20 minutes for your convenience from 1st May – 15th May 2014. Guests are able to board the bus at Level 1 @ klia2.
